As you all know, MLBF takes great pride in providing outstanding health coverage for Laborers and their dependents, while keeping out-of-pocket costs as low as possible.

Each year, your Board of Trustees carefully reviews the Health and Welfare plan to ensure that Laborers continue to receive the highest quality benefits in today’s ever-changing healthcare landscape.

What’s coming
The Fund will soon mail detailed information about the 2026 plan changes to all eligible members. Please keep an eye on your mailbox, for this is important.

Your Local Union may have additional information available at upcoming meetings, which we encourage you to attend.

If you’ve recently moved or are not receiving mail from MLBF:

• Update your address using this form.

• Sign up for email updates from the Fund here.

Eligibility reminder for 2026 coverage
To maintain eligibility for Health and Welfare coverage in 2026, members must meet the minimum required hours worked between October 2024 and September 2025:

• Plan A: 1,000 hours
• Plan B: 700 hours

Coverage for those who meet the hourly requirements will continue from January through June 2026.
