Kristin Woodruff Health Coach
Kristin Woodruff has built a career at the intersection of exercise science, health coaching, and wellness education. Born in Michigan, raised in Vermont, and now proud to call the North Shore of Massachusetts home, Kristin brings clinical expertise to her work.
She holds a master’s degree in Exercise Science from Northeastern University. She began her health career in cardiac rehab, later working in obesity medicine and diabetes education. Along the way, she even spent time in Texas conducting research with NASA. She is also proud to be a registered nurse and a board certified health coach.
When it comes to health information, Kristin is refreshingly direct. “There are some [scammers] out there,” she says of pseudo-health professionals who push fads without science. Her approach is the opposite: evidence-based and focused on helping members use their benefits to diminish costs and support lasting health. She uses skills of listening without judgment, offering resources, and partnering with people so they can uncover their own motivations to support member success.
Outside of work, Kristin is an avid gardener, spending her free time in both vegetable and flower gardens. She enjoys walking on the beach, practicing yoga, and strength training. Kristin believes true health is about flexibility and finding what works for each person on any given day. Whether traveling somewhere new, drawing inspiration from nature, or supporting members in reaching their goals, Kristin embodies her own philosophy: “Not any one thing for any one person on any one day.”
