As we return our medical provider network to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts on July 1, our team at the Massachusetts Laborers’ Benefit Funds is here to help make the most of your coverage.
Here’s how you can get started:
Use the MyBlue App – available on both the App Store and Google Play, the MyBlue app lets you:
- View your benefits and claims
- Find doctors and care providers
- Store your ID card on your phone
- Check the costs of any visit
Stay in the Network:
- To get full coverage, make sure your providers are in the BCBSMA EPO network. It’s easy to check at bluecrossma.com.
Prior Authorization Tips
- Some services need prior authorization, like surgeries or specialty care. If you’ve already gotten approval through your Cigna, BCBSMA will work to move those over. Be sure to have your doctor confirm with Team Blue at 1-800-882-2060.
