Join October Health Fairs for Free Screenings & Family Fun!
Get free screenings this month at the regional health fairs organized by the New England Laborers’ Health and Safety Fund. The fairs are completely free and don’t require any registration or RSVP.
This month’s health fairs will include:
- Western Mass Health Fair on Saturday, October 14 — Local 596 Union Hall, 345 Northampton Hwy, Holyoke, MA 01040 / 9am – 12pm
- South Coast Health Fair on Saturday, October 21 — Rosebrook Event Center, 50 Rosebrook Pl, Unit 1, Wareham, MA 02571 / 9am – 12pm
The Health Fair offers a variety of different services, including:
- Flu shots
- Blood pressure screening
- Blood sugar screening
- Cholesterol screening
- Bone density screening
- Hearing and vision exams
- Prostate cancer screening
- Pulmonary function tests
- and Derma scan skin screening
Every person who walks in the door will receive a free gift and the opportunity to enter their yearly raffle for one of two prizes. You can also attend to get a little rest and relaxation by taking advantage of the massage table. The October 14th event will also include activities for children, like face painting and games.
The Massachusetts Laborers’ Benefit Funds and the Legal Services Fund will also attend to answer any questions about your benefits. We hope to see you there!
