Recovery is Possible, Help is Available

Since April is National Alcohol Awareness Month, now is a time to recognize that problems with alcohol are common and can make you feel alone. But it’s also important to recognize that recovery is always possible, and help is always available. If you or a loved one is struggling with alcohol or other substance use, we have the resources to help.

The LEAN Recovery Program understands the unique challenges faced by Laborers because it is run by Laborers, for Laborers. Our trained Recovery Specialists have been in your shoes and are ready to take the first step to recovery with you. To get started, call 1-844-423-LEAN.

You can also gather with your fellow Laborers to discuss addiction and recovery at in-person Laborers’ Recovery Meetings located throughout Massachusetts.  For more information, contact:

  • Marc Lyle, North Shore & Northeast MA: 781-496-5718 (cell)
  • Glenn Troy, South Shore & Southeastern MA: 781-496-5716 (cell)

In many cases, grief or stress can lead to problems with alcohol. The Laborers’ Support Network is here to help you manage life’s daily challenges through counseling and medication-assisted treatment. Get started by calling 1-800-522-6763 or visiting (entry code: MALAB).

We encourage you to take advantage of these excellent resources. We’re ready to partner with you on your recovery — all you need to do is ask.
