Save Your Stubs

Published On: February 10, 2023

What do you do with your pay stubs at the end of each week? Our advice to you is SAVE them. Saving your stubs is the simplest way to identify problems before they have an adverse effect on your fringe benefits, for example your Pension, Health & Welfare, or Annuity benefits. Your pay stubs may assist the Fund Office in reviewing and addressing any possible discrepancies. The following are additional tips that may be helpful in resolving issues and questions:

  1. When you begin work for a new contractor, confirm your Social Security number is being reported to the Fund Office correctly.
  2. Check your pay rate and that the appropriate deductions are being made.
  3. If you are working outside the states of MA, ME, NH, and VT, you must notify the Fund covering that outside jurisdiction that you are a member of the Massachusetts and Northern New England Laborers’ District Council. The Fund in the outside jurisdiction should be able to help you determine if there is a reciprocity agreement in place to return your worked hours for Health & Welfare, Pension and Annuity to this Fund Office. You may also call this Fund Office to assist you.

Any questions or concerns regarding your benefits, please contact the Fund Office at 781-272-1000. Use the extensions below for the appropriate department:

Auditing: x571, 537, or 573
Health & Welfare: x201 or 202
