Tufts Medicine Update
Massachusetts Laborers’ Benefit Funds is pleased to inform you that your Tufts Medicine provider will stay in network with Cigna!
MLBF had previously notified you that your providers affiliated with Tufts Medical Center, Lowell General Hospital and/or Melrose-Wakefield hospital would leave the Cigna network effective February 1, 2023.
We’re pleased to share that an agreement has been reached between Tufts Medicine and Cigna to keep these providers covered in the Cigna network. The Fund office and the Board of Trustees actively worked with Cigna and Tufts to avoid disruption for our members while keeping costs as manageable as possible.
We are happy that you and your family will be able to continue to receive quality healthcare without disruption.
