Your 2026 Health & Welfare Eligibility
Your Health & Welfare eligibility for January 2026 is based on hours worked between October 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025. The qualifying period has ended, and eligibility will be reflected in your 2026 coverage.
Plan A vs. Plan B coverage overview:
- Plan A: 1,000 hours within a 12-month qualifying period = coverage during a 6-month eligibility period
- Plan B: 700 hours within a 12-month qualifying period = coverage during a 6-month eligibility period
You can check your worked hours anytime by logging in to your member dashboard: mlbf.org/member-dashboard/. If you need a password reset, call Dashboard Support at 781-272-1000 x548. For eligibility questions, call 781-272-1000 x201.
If you do not meet the hours required for coverage, you may still be eligible for COBRA or a short-hour buy-in. Additional details will be shared by the Fund office soon, so be on the lookout.
