Important Reminder: Save Your Pay Stubs

Published On: March 13, 2026

Pay stubs may seem routine, but they’re an important part of protecting your benefits. They’re one of the most useful tools you have to protect your Health & Welfare, Pension, and Annuity benefits.

Taking a few minutes to review your pay stubs regularly can help you catch small issues early and avoid bigger headaches later. A simple habit today can save you time and money down the road.

When reviewing your pay stubs, be sure to:

  • Confirm your Social Security number is reported correctly when starting a new job.
  • Double-check your pay rate and deductions to ensure accuracy.
  • Notify the local Fund Office if you’re working outside of MA, ME, NH, or VT to check for reciprocity agreements to ensure your benefits are transferred correctly.
If you notice an issue or have any questions, contact the Fund Office at 781-272-1000:
  • Auditing: x571, 537, or 573
  • Health & Welfare: x201 or 202
  • Pension/Annuity: x150
